Updated guidance for immigration work

The Home Office has updated its guidance on immigration work.

Working with Immigration Advisers guidance version 3.0 has been produced by to the Immigration Advice Authority. This supersedes this guidance produced what was the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner. It has been developed at a number of Ministry of Justice meetings, and includes:

  • Clarifications to the medical report section and to make general housekeeping updates.
  • Details about what to do when advisers do not provide their names when corresponding with officials.
  • Options for template letters for corresponding with advisers in these circumstances.
  • Information on what to do when an immigration adviser or organisation has been suspended or cancelled, or an organisation has been closed down.
