Outcome of SDT Hearing
This notification relates to a Decision to prosecute before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal. This is an independent Tribunal which reaches its own decision after considering all the evidence, including any evidence put forward by the Respondents. The Tribunal had certified that there was a case to answer.
This matter was heard on the 27 October 2025 when the SDT considered and approved an Agreed Outcome in relation to the second Respondent, former law firm Carter Devile; and on the 11 & 12 November 2025 when the SDT considered the allegations against the first Respondent Ms. Saeed.
The Tribunal made no order as to sanction of Carter Devile but made an order that it pay costs.
Ms. Saeed was fined £7,500.
