7 May 2026

A website at www.knobelimmigrationadvisersltd.com is operating, falsely claiming to be for a regulated law firm called 'Knobel Immigration Advisers'.

What is the scam?

A website at www.knobelimmigrationadvisersltd.com is operating, seemingly marketing legal services, falsely claiming to be for a law firm called 'Knobel Immigration Advisers' and claiming to be regulated by the SRA.

The SRA does not authorise or regulate a firm of solicitors called 'Knobel Immigration Advisers'.

The website provides a general contact email address of info@knobelimmigrationadvisersltd.com and another email address of info.knobelimmigrationadvisers@gmail.com. The website also provides a postal address of 10 Helenslea Avenue, London, England, NW11 8ND.

The website clones parts of the website of a genuine firm of solicitors (see below), including misusing a genuine telephone number in the complaints section.

Any business or transaction through 'Knobel Immigration Advisers', or through the details above is not undertaken by a firm or solicitor authorised and regulated by the SRA.

Is there a genuine firm or person?

Helen Smith Immigration (SRA number 666312) is a genuine firm of solicitors authorised by the SRA. Their website address is helensmithimmigration.co.uk, telephone number 07823614300 and email domain @helensmithimmigration.co.uk.

The genuine firm has confirmed that they do not have any genuine connection to 'Knobel Immigration Advisers' or the website referred to in the above alert.

What should I do?

When a firm's or individual's identity has been copied exactly (or cloned), due diligence is necessary. If you receive correspondence claiming to be from the above firm(s) or individual(s), or information of a similar nature to that described, you should conduct your own due diligence by checking the authenticity of the correspondence by contacting the law firm directly by reliable and established means. You can contact the SRA to find out if individuals or firms are regulated and authorised by the SRA and verify an individual's or firm's practising details. Other verification methods, such as checking public records (e.g. telephone directories and company records) may be required in other circumstances.
