Business Plan consultation – have your say

We are consulting on programme of transformation to modernise how we work.

This includes prioritising operational excellence to strengthen how we operate; further developing the ability to proactively identify and address risk by shifting towards earlier engagement; and, being disciplined in where we direct attention and resources so we are focused on the issues posing the greatest harm to consumers.

The consultation includes key questions about our proposed work commitments, funding requirements, fees and compensation fund contributions.

To learn about our draft Business Plan, watch out latest on‑demand webinar. This explores our proposed priorities that focus on strengthening operations, building future capability and improving risk identification.

This session also explains our funding requirements and planned investment to enhance our effectiveness and resilience.

There are different ways to give your views on our draft Business Plan and funding requirement for 2026/27. We will be running a series of engagement events throughout the consultation period.

  • 16 June, 10.15–11.30 Roundtable with small firms
  • 18 June, 14.00–15.15 Roundtable with in-house solicitors and Lawyers in Local Government

The consultation closes at midday on Monday 22 June 2026.
